What is the Jack Petchey Award?

The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up by Sir Jack Petchey CBE to inspire and celebrate young people. Since 2000, over £118 million has been invested in programmes to benefit young people aged 11-25 across London and Essex.

At Hutton Squadron we are proud to be able to offer the award which is decided by vote and presented to the most "Outstanding Achievers". Winners have the choice on what they would like to spend their sum of money on in the squadron. Below are some of our recent award winners.

    Mr Tucker decided to spend his grant on t-shirts for the squadron

    Cpl Barclay chose to spend his grant on differnt t-shirts for the squadron wich can be used at sporting events

    Sergeant

    Sgt Burgess decided to spend her grant on a RIFE headset which allows cadets to be sumbmersed in the world of virtual reality whilst learning how to pilot an aircraft on our state of the art flight simulator

    Ex Staff Sgt at Hutton

    Ex Sgt Smith decided to spend his leader's grant on a trip to Duxford Air Show for he squadron.

    Ex Civilian Instructor

    Mr Hubbard decided to spend his leader's grant on new radio equipment for the squadron.
